Samsung Techwin America Offers A
High School Student Scholarship Program
Win a $1,000 Scholarship from Samsung!
Ridgefield Park, New Jersey (March 30, 2010) – Samsung Techwin America’s Electronic Imaging Division (www.samsungscholarship.com), a market leader in document camera technology, today announced that it is offering an opportunity for seven high school students to each earn $1,000 scholarships. “Our products are changing the way teachers teach and students learn in the classroom,” said Richard Bellomy, V.P. of Sales for the Electronic Imaging Division. “With the current state of the economy and the tight school budgets, we wanted a way to give something back to the community.”
Students interested in participating need to submit up to a 300 word essay answering the question “Is technology a good investment for schools? Why or why not?” The papers will be judged on original thinking, relevance to the real world, and writing quality. Participation requirements - high school student in the United States, teacher to sponsor student, and permission to use photo and essay in publicity. The submittal deadline is May 28, 2010 and the awards will be announced June 30, 2010. Submittals are made online at www.samsungscholarship.com.
